Well done to everyone for taking part!
29/05/15 - Year 11 Geography Field Trip

Year 11 Geography students spent Tuesday 26 May investigating the Yellow Water River in Rostrevor, to obtain fluvial data for their GCSE controlled assessment task. Each student had the opportunity to handle specialist equipment provided by Killowen Outdoor Educational Centre and work as a team to record current and accurate information based on the river’s ability to erode. The investigation was led by Vincent McAlinden (Field Instructor from Killowen OEC) and their own Geography teacher, Mrs E Flanagan.

The day was a great success and thoroughly enjoyed by all.
