10X and Mrs Graham would like to extend their sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed to our Easter collection for Armagh Food Bank. Pictured are boys from 10X and 9A who kindly helped to pack everything up. It was a tremendous effort from the whole school community, and we’re delighted that so many bags and boxes of much needed groceries and provisions were sent off with the staff from the Food Bank this afternoon.
Well done everyone – your efforts will make such a difference to many homes this Easter.

In recognition of their excellent work, the ‘Newtownhamilton TBUC in the Community’ group was successful in achieving the runner-up prize in the Good Relations category at the YAFTAs (Youth And Future Talent Awards) which were held recently at the Canal Court Hotel.
Well done to everyone involved.
01/04/19 - Year 9 Amazing the Space
On Friday 29th March, a group of Year 9 pupils travelled to Londonderry’s Foyle Arena to participate in “Amazing the Space: Pathway to Peace” showcase and conference as part of their Shared Education programme.
Rev. Dr. David Latimer opened the event, talking to pupils about his Pathway to Peace programme and his passion for promoting peace through young people across all communities in Northern Ireland. Pupils reflected on the benefits of shared education, participated in team building workshops, listened to a variety of interesting talks by some guest speakers and enjoyed meeting up with friends from different schools.
A great day was had by all!
